We are the San Diego Miramar College Paralegal Group. We are a group of professionals with drive
and determination destined to become a powerful force within the legal community.
 
In just thirty days from our inception, we became the largest and most productive student group that
Miramar College has ever seen, we are now into our second year!
 
We strive for excellence in education, training, and work experience by networking with legal professionals
in our community, while maintaining the highest standard of professionalism.

• Members are educated within an American Bar Association approved curriculum, a merit that is awarded to less than 15% of the paralegal programs nationwide!

• The San Diego Miramar College Paralegal Group (SDMCPG) serves as Miramar College's exclusive resource for paralegal related employment & internship oppurtunities, professional development, networking, & other tools that you can use to succeed.

• As a member, you could qualify for the prestigious Lambda Epsilon Chi, the National Honor Society in Paralegal/ Legal Assistant Studies.

• SDMCPG offers oppurtunities for members to volunteer for legal programs around the county, providing you with the chance to apply your knowledge, & boost your resume at the same time.

• SDMCPG arranges fundraising activities that allows the group to offer members a chance at winning Scholarships!

• At meetings, you will hear from a diverse range of marvelously interesting paralegal guest speakers from around the county. These speakers will give you great insight into various paralegal career fields, & an idea of what it is to be a practicing paralegal in San Diego County.

• Members benefit from meetings that focus on resume building, participating in mock-interviews, & learning the best methods of resume creation to assist you in being better prepared for your career search.

The San Diego Miramar College Paralegal Group meets the second Saturday of the month at 10 a.m. Membership Fee is $10.00 for one year. Occasionally, due to holidays or special events, meetings may be held on a different Saturday, or at a different time.
